"The man who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know. But the man who loves God is known by God." (1 John...something?)

Cinnamon toast is a wonderful thing. So is autumn. And isn't Cinderella a great story?

When I was little I loved cinnamon toast. I would eat the crust first (get it over with), then fold the rest in half and squeeze out the sweet oozey sugary syrup onto my tongue. What a pleasure...
I'm not sure I've ever taught you the "right" way to eat cinnamon toast.

sometimes I skip the toast part and just have butter sugar and cinnamon or better yet, skip the cinnamon and add peanut butter . . . yummy . . .

my favorite part is after the toast is gone and there's all that sugar all over the plate...

Oh dear, it was always the "get well meal" after the kids were sick. I'd march upstairs with a little plate holding the cinnamon toast, crusts cut off, and cut into three strips. One step up from ginger-ale, it meant that healing was on the way! I wonder if my kids have that association. I much prefer Liz's association.
